This Privacy Policy explains how NexusVPN ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and safeguards information related to your use of the NexusVPN iOS Mobile Application and VPN tunnel services.

★ Strict Zero-Logs Policy

Your privacy is our core mission. NexusVPN enforces a strict **Zero-Logs Policy** for all VPN tunnel connections. Specifically:

  • No Traffic Logging: We do NOT log, monitor, or capture your browsing history, web traffic, destinations visited, data content, or DNS queries.
  • No Connection Logs: We do NOT store timestamps of when you connect or disconnect, nor do we log your session bandwidth consumption.
  • No IP Storage: The real IP address assigned to your device by your Internet Service Provider is never logged or saved on our VPN exit nodes.

1. Information We Collect

To run the subscription service, authorize connections, and manage accounts, we collect the following minimal categories of data:

  • Account Registration Data: When creating an account, we collect your email address and password. This is stored securely in our central PocketBase database to authenticate you and manage your preferences.
  • Active Session Handshake (PocketBase API): When initiating a VPN connection, the app requests credentials for your chosen server. PocketBase generates unique, ephemeral EAP configuration keys and pushes them to the target StrongSwan server over SSH. This credentials data is deleted automatically if your account is closed.
  • Billing Data (In-App Purchases): Subscriptions and transaction processing are handled securely by RevenueCat and the Apple App Store. NexusVPN does not collect or store your billing address, credit card numbers, or banking details.
  • Mobile Advertising (AdMob):The free tier of our iOS app integrates Google AdMob SDK. AdMob collects device identifiers (IDFA/GAID) and basic tracking parameters to display ads, in strict compliance with Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework and local rules (GDPR/CCPA).

2. How We Use Information

We process account-related data exclusively to:

  • Authorize and establish secure IPSec/StrongSwan VPN tunnels on your request.
  • Verify and sync active Pro subscription purchases.
  • Maintain app account status (such as password resets or account purging).

3. Account Deletion and Self-Healing

You can delete your account at any time from within the app settings. When an account is deleted, the central database purges your user configurations. Our backend automatically fires a deletion hook that logs into all cached StrongSwan VPN nodes and deletes your configuration credentials from the server storage (/etc/swanctl/conf.d/), leaving no residual data.
